Life as a registered nurse has allowed me to see the 'struggle' caused by the gift of flowers.  My peers and I have bid many happy farewells to our discharged patients who are eager to return home and also have many gifted floral arrangements to carry along with them.  But the inability to transport the flowers without ruining their buds, and smashing their delicate petals, left them no choice but to leave their floral arrangements at our nurses station - as parting gifts for the staff.  I always imagined them to feel that this gesture allowed at least someone to enjoy the beauty and aroma of the gifted fresh flowers that they were unable to take home for themselves.

And this is how flowercaddy™ was born - in an effort to assist hospital patients in transporting multiple floral arrangements without ruining them.  Keeping them steady and upright on their journey from the hospital to home - no arrangement left behind!™
